किमेतन्नाभिजानामि जानन्नपि महामते ।
यत्प्रेमप्रवणं चित्तं विगुणेष्वपि बन्धुषु ॥
kim etan nābhijānāmi jānann api mahā-mate |
yat prema-pravaṇaṃ cittaṃ viguṇeṣv api bandhuṣu ||
اے بزرگ دل! یہ کیا بات ہے کہ میں بہت کچھ جانتے ہوئے بھی ٹھیک طرح نہیں سمجھ پاتا—کہ دل بےخصلت رشتہ داروں کی طرف بھی محبت ہی کو کیوں مائل ہوتا ہے؟

Discernment (jñāna) alone may not dissolve attachment; emotional conditioning and identity-based bonds can overpower rational evaluation. This motivates the need for a higher explanatory principle and a practical path.
