Adhyaya 8 — Harishchandra’s Trial: Truth, the Sale of Family, and Bondage to a Chandala

Sanskrit

तपसोऽत्र सुतप्तस्य ब्राह्मण्यस्यामलस्य च ।

मत्प्रभावस्य चोग्रस्य शुद्धस्याध्ययनस्य च ॥

Transliteration

tapaso ’tra sutaptasya brāhmaṇyasyāmalasya ca | matprabhāvasya cograsya śuddhasyādhyayanasya ca ||

Translation

اس ستوتر/پाठ میں خوب انجام دی گئی تپسیا کا پھل، بے داغ برہمنیت کی پاکیزگی کا پھل، میری اپنی سخت و پاک طاقت کا پھل، اور پاکیزہ ادھیयन (مقدس مطالعہ) کا پھل موجود ہے۔
