Adhyaya 76The Sixth Manvantara: Cakshusha Manu, the Child-Snatcher, and the Problem of Kinship

किन्तु मदुपभोगाय मार्जारी जातहारिणी ।

त्वन्तु क्रमेणोपभोग्यं मत्तः फलमभीप्ससि ॥

kintu madupabhogāya mārjārī jātahāriṇī / tvantu krameṇopabhogyaṃ mattaḥ phalam abhīpsasi //

بلی اور بچہ اُچکنے والی تو مجھے براہِ راست بھوگ (استعمال) کرنا چاہتی ہیں؛ مگر تم مجھ سے ‘پھل’ چاہتے ہو—جو وقت آنے پر آہستہ آہستہ بھوگا جاتا ہے۔
