कन्योवाच अहमिन्दीवराख्यस्य सुता विद्याधरस्य वै । नाम्ना मनोरमा जाता सुतायां मरुधन्वनः ॥
kanyovāca aham indīvarākhyasya sutā vidyādharasya vai / nāmnā manoramā jātā sutāyāṃ marudhanvanaḥ

Puranic narration often situates persons through lineage and community (here, Vidyādharas). Identity is relational—one’s story is anchored in networks of responsibility and protection.
Vaṃśa/vaṃśānucarita tendency: naming and descent markers, even within an episodic legend.
Vidyādharas (‘knowledge-bearers’) frame the episode as more than mundane danger: knowledge without humility can still meet peril, preparing the ground for the curse motif that follows.
