Adhyaya 52 — The Manifestation of Nilalohita (Rudra) and the Allocation of His Names, Abodes, Consorts, and Lineages
prāṇasya dyutimān putra utpannas tasya cātmajaḥ | ajarāś ca tayoḥ putrāḥ pautrāś ca bahavo 'bhavan ||
The Purāṇic imagination values continuity: lineages are the carriers of dharma, ritual memory, and social order across time.
Vaṁśa: straightforward genealogical listing.
Names like Dyutimān (‘radiant’) and Ajarā (‘ageless’) can be read as ideals of spiritual luminosity and enduring merit that a dharmic lineage aspires to embody.
