Adhyaya 47 — Brahma’s Awakening and the Ninefold Scheme of Creation
यस्मात्तिर्यक्प्रवृत्तिः सा तिर्यक्स्रोतस्ततः स्मृतः ।
पश्वादयस्ते विख्यातास्तमः प्रायो ह्यवेदिनः ॥
yasmāt tiryakpravṛttiḥ sā tiryakstrotas tataḥ smṛtaḥ /
paśvādayas te vikhyātās tamaḥ prāyo hy avedinaḥ ||
چونکہ اُن کی سرگرمی پہلو کی سمت بہتی ہے، اس لیے وہ ‘تیریَک-سروتس’ کہلاتے ہیں۔ وہ جانور وغیرہ کے طور پر معروف ہیں، زیادہ تر تمس سے مغلوب اور کم فہم ہیں۔
