Sanskrit

भूत्वा पुरा वराहेण तुण्डेनापो निरस्य च ।

एकया दंष्ट्रयोत्खाता नलिनीव वसुन्धरा ॥

Transliteration

bhūtvā purā varāheṇa tuṇḍenāpo nirasya ca /

ekayā daṃṣṭrayotkhātā nalinīva vasundharā

Translation

قدیم زمانے میں اس نے ورَاہ (خنزیرِ الٰہی) کا روپ دھار کر اپنی تھوتھنی سے پانیوں کو ہٹا دیا؛ اور ایک ہی دانت سے وسُندھرا (زمین) کو پانی سے یوں اٹھا لیا جیسے پانی سے کنول کی نال کھینچی جاتی ہے۔
