ब्राह्मणानां सहस्रेभ्यो योगी त्वग्राशनी यदि ।

यजमानञ्च भोक्तॄंश्च नौरीवाम्भसि तारयेत् ॥

brāhmaṇānāṃ sahasrebhyo yogī tv agrāśanī yadi / yajamānañ ca bhoktṝṃś ca naur ivāmbhasi tārayet

اگر شرادھ میں یوگی سب سے پہلے کھائے تو وہ پانی میں کشتی کی مانند یجمان اور کھانے والوں—دونوں کو—پار لگا دیتا ہے؛ یہ ہزار برہمنوں سے بھی بڑھ کر اثر رکھتا ہے۔
