पूर्णेन्दुमालोक्य यथा प्रीतिमान् जायते नरः ।

एवं यत्र प्रजाः सर्वा निर्वत्ता स्तच्छशिव्रतम् ॥

Transliteration

pūrṇendum ālokya yathā prītimān jāyate naraḥ | evaṃ yatra prajāḥ sarvā nirvattās tac chaśi-vratam ||

Translation

جس طرح پورے چاند کو دیکھ کر انسان خوش ہوتا ہے، اسی طرح وہی مثالی حالت ہے جہاں تمام رعایا مطمئن اور خوشحال و مستحکم ہو—یہی بادشاہ کا ‘سوم ورت’ (چاند جیسا طرزِ حکومت) ہے۔
