Adhyaya 20 — Ritadhvaja’s Companionship with the Naga Princes and the Origin of the Horse Kuvalaya
देवत्वममरेशत्वं तत्पूज्यत्वञ्च मानवाः ।
प्रयान्ति वाञ्छितं वान्यद् दृढं ये व्यवसाहिनः ॥
devatvam amareśatvaṃ tat-pūjyatvañ ca mānavāḥ | prayānti vāñchitaṃ vānyad dṛḍhaṃ ye vyavasāyinaḥ ||
پختہ عزم رکھنے والے انسان دیوتا پن، امروں میں سرداری اور قابلِ پرستش ہونے کی حالت بھی پا لیتے ہیں؛ یا پھر جو کچھ اور چاہیں، وہ بھی حاصل کر لیتے ہیں۔
