یوں کہہ کر اُن کی طرف دیکھتے ہوئے اُس نے پھر کہا: “لوٹ جاؤ؛ اِن ننھے پرندوں کے بچوں کو لے کر آشرم چلے جاؤ۔”

The verse emphasizes responsible care and non-neglect of the vulnerable: even while departing or changing course, one must ensure dependents (here, the young birds) are brought to safety. It reflects dharmic attentiveness—actions should protect life and avoid harm through carelessness.
Primarily ancillary to the Purana’s narrative framework rather than a direct pancalakṣaṇa unit. It supports the ‘vaṃśānucarita/ākhyāna’ (narrative episode) style that frames later teachings; it is not directly sarga/pratisarga/manvantara/vaṃśa content in this single verse.
Symbolically, ‘returning to the āśrama with the chicks’ can be read as reintegration of one’s outward movement back into disciplined life, carrying along the ‘newly born’ or tender impulses (bālakāḥ) so they are nurtured rather than abandoned. The āśrama represents ordered practice; the chicks represent nascent virtues or responsibilities that must be protected during transitions.
