विपश्चिदिति विख्यातो जनकानामहं कुले ।
जातो विदेहविषये सम्यङ्मनुजपालकः ॥
vipaścid iti vikhyāto janakānām ahaṃ kule | jāto videhaviṣaye samyaṅ-manuja-pālakaḥ
میں ‘وِپَشْچِت’ کے نام سے مشہور ہوں؛ دیہہ (وِدِیہ) کی سرزمین میں جنک کے خاندان میں پیدا ہوا، وہ بادشاہ جس نے اپنی رعایا کی درست طور پر حفاظت کی۔
