Virāṭa-parva, Adhyāya 20
विक्रियां पश्य मे तीव्रां राजपुत्रया: परंतप । आत्मकालमुदीक्षन्ती सर्व दुःखं किलान्तवत्
vaśampāyana uvāca |
vikriyāṃ paśya me tīvrāṃ rājaputryāḥ parantapa |
ātmakālam udīkṣantī sarva-duḥkhaṃ kilāntavat ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—اے پرنتپ! دیکھو، میں شہزادی ہوتے ہوئے بھی کیسی سخت الٹ پھیر کا شکار ہوئی ہوں۔ پھر بھی اپنے بھلے کے مناسب وقت پر نظر رکھنی چاہیے؛ کیونکہ جب غم آتا ہے تو اس کا انجام بھی یقیناً ہوتا ہے۔
