कृतयुगवर्णनम् तथा राजधर्मोपदेशः

निर्गतो5हमकामस्तु इच्छया ते महाप्रभो । इच्छामि पुण्डरीकाक्ष ज्ञातुं त्वाहमनिन्दितम्,“महाप्रभो! मैं अपनी अभिलाषा न रहनेपर भी केवल आपकी इच्छासे बाहर निकल आया हूँ। कमलनयन! आप सर्वोत्कृष्ट देवताको मैं जानना चाहता हूँ
nirgato ’ham akāmas tu icchayā te mahāprabho | icchāmi puṇḍarīkākṣa jñātuṁ tvāham aninditam ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا— “اے مہاپربھو! میری اپنی کوئی خواہش نہ تھی، پھر بھی صرف آپ کی مرضی سے میں باہر آ گیا ہوں۔ اے پُندریکاکش (کنول نین)! میں آپ کو—جو دیوتاؤں میں بے عیب اور برتر ہیں—جاننا چاہتا ہوں۔”
