भीमसेनस्य नादेन व्यमुठ्जन्त गुहा भयात् वनमें घूमते हुए भीमसेनका बलाभिमान दीर्घकालसे बहुत बढ़ा हुआ था। उस समय उनकी सिंह-गर्जनासे महान् बलशाली गजराज और मृगराज भी भयसे अपना स्थान छोड़कर भाग गये
bhīmasenasya nādena vyamuñjanta guhā bhayāt
بھیم سین کی گرج سے خوف کے مارے غار خالی ہو گئے۔ جنگل میں بھٹکتے بھٹکتے اس کے اپنے زور کا غرور مدتِ دراز سے بڑھتا چلا آیا تھا؛ اور اسی لمحے اس کی شیر جیسی دہاڑ سن کر طاقتور گج راج اور مِرگ راج بھی اپنی جگہیں چھوڑ کر بھاگ نکلے۔
