भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana

यदर्थ क्षत्रिया सूते तस्य कालोडयमागत: । न हि वैरं समासाद्य सीदन्ति पुरुषर्षभा:

yadartha kṣatriyā sūte tasya kālo ’yam āgataḥ | na hi vairaṃ samāsādya sīdanti puruṣarṣabhāḥ ||

جس مقصد کے لیے ایک کشتریہ عورت بیٹے کو جنم دیتی ہے، اسی مقصد کا وقت اب آ پہنچا ہے۔ بہترین مرد دشمنی اختیار کر لینے کے بعد دل شکستہ نہیں ہوتے؛ جب وہ دھرم کے مطابق عداوت قبول کر لیتے ہیں تو مایوسی میں نہیں ڈوبتے۔
