Educational Q&A

Righteous conduct and steadfast adherence to dharma culminate in exalted spiritual reward: Yudhiṣṭhira’s attained realms are portrayed as surpassing those of other kings, comparable to the famed merit of Hariścandra.

In the Svargārohaṇa episode, Vaiśaṃpāyana narrates the outcome of Yudhiṣṭhira’s journey and trials: he is assured of superior heavenly worlds, likened to the celebrated attainment of King Hariścandra, where he will dwell.
