स्वर्गारोहणपर्व — तृतीयोऽध्यायः
Indra and Dharma’s Consolation; Celestial Gaṅgā Purification
शुभानामशुभानां च द्वौ राशी पुरुषर्षभ । यः पूर्व सुकृतं भुड्चक्ते पश्चान्रिरयमेव स:
śubhānām aśubhānāṁ ca dvau rāśī puruṣarṣabha | yaḥ pūrvaṁ sukṛtaṁ bhuṅkte paścān nirayam eva saḥ ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا— اے مردوں میں برتر! انسان کی زندگی میں نیکی اور بدی کے اعمال کے دو ڈھیر جمع ہوتے ہیں۔ جو پہلے اپنے ثواب کا پھل بھگت لیتا ہے، اسے بعد میں باقی گناہوں کی سزا بھگتنے کے لیے لازماً دوزخ ہی جانا پڑتا ہے۔
