यदि ब्रह्मन् शृणोष्येतच्छुद्धधासि च मे वचः । वेदोक्तस्यैव धर्मस्य फलं मुख्यमवाप्स्यसि,“ब्रह्म! यदि आप मेरी बात सुनेंगे और उसपर श्रद्धा करेंगे तो आपको वेदोक्त धर्मके पालनका ही मुख्य फल प्राप्त होगा
yadi brahman śṛṇoṣy etac chuddhadhāsi ca me vacaḥ | vedoktasyāiva dharmasya phalaṃ mukhyam avāpsyasi ||
بھیشم نے کہا—اے برہمن، اگر تم یہ بات سنو اور میرے کلام پر بھروسا رکھو، تو تمہیں ویدوں میں بتائے ہوئے دھرم پر چلنے کا اصل اور بڑا پھل حاصل ہوگا۔
