कर्ण तु निहतं दृष्ट्वा शत्रुभि: परमाहवे । भीता दिशो व्यकीर्यन्त तावका: क्षतविक्षता:
karṇaṃ tu nihataṃ dṛṣṭvā śatrubhiḥ paramāhave | bhītā diśo vyakīryanta tāvakāḥ kṣatavikṣatāḥ ||
اس نہایت ہولناک جنگ میں دشمنوں کے ہاتھوں کَرن کے مارے جانے کو دیکھ کر آپ کے سپاہی خوف زدہ ہو گئے۔ زخموں سے چور چور وہ بھاگ کر ہر سمت بکھر گئے۔
संजय उवाच
