नराश्वनागानमितान् निजषघ्नतुः परस्परं चापि महारथौ नृप । नरेश्वर! वे महाधनुर्धर और महारथी वीर महान् अस्त्रोंका प्रयोग करते हुए अपने भयानक बाणोंद्वारा असंख्य मनुष्यों
sañjaya uvāca | narāśvanāgān amitān nijaśaghnatuḥ parasparaṃ cāpi mahārathau nṛpa |
سنجے نے کہا—اے نریشور! وہ دونوں مہادھنوردھر مہارتھی عظیم استروں کو برتتے ہوئے اپنے ہولناک تیروں سے بے شمار انسانوں، گھوڑوں اور ہاتھیوں کا سنہار کر رہے تھے؛ اور میدانِ جنگ کے جوش میں بار بار ایک دوسرے کو بھی زخم پہنچا رہے تھے۔
