व्यायतायतबाहूनां व्यायतायतबाहुभि: । बाहव: पातिता रेजुर्धरण्यां सायुधाड़रदा:
sañjaya uvāca |
vyāyatāyatabāhūnāṃ vyāyatāyatabāhubhiḥ |
bāhavaḥ pātitā rejur dharaṇyāṃ sāyudhāṅgadāḥ ||
vadhyamāne bale tasmin sūtaputreṇa māriṣa |
nakulo 'bhyadravat tūrṇaṃ sūtaputraṃ mahāraṇe ||
سنجے نے کہا—سَبل اور دراز بازوؤں والے سورماؤں نے ویسے ہی مضبوط دراز بازو یودھاؤں کی بازو کاٹ کر زمین پر گرا دیں۔ وہ کٹی ہوئی بازو ہتھیاروں اور بازوبندوں سمیت بھی شان سے چمک رہی تھیں۔ اے معزز بادشاہ! جب اس مہا-سمَر میں سوت پُتر کرن کے ہاتھوں ہماری فوج کٹنے لگی تو نکُل فوراً کرن پر دھاوا بولتا ہوا اس کی طرف لپکا۔
