Chapter 47: Krauñca-vyūha Deployment and Conch-Signals
Kaurava–Pāṇḍava Readiness
रथस्थान् पुरुषव्याप्रान् पाण्डवानू प्रेक्ष्य पार्थिवा: । धृष्टद्युम्नादय: सर्वे पुनर्जहषिरे तदा,पुरुषसिंह पाण्डवोंको पुनः रथपर बैठे देख धृष्टद्युम्मन आदि राजा बड़े प्रसन्न हुए
rathasthān puruṣavyāprān pāṇḍavānū prekṣya pārthivāḥ | dhṛṣṭadyumnādayaḥ sarve punar jahaṣire tadā ||
رتھوں پر سوار مردِ شیر پاندوؤں کو پھر دیکھ کر، دھِرِشتدیومن وغیرہ سب راجے اس وقت دوبارہ خوشی سے جھوم اٹھے۔
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights the ethical dimension of steadfastness in one’s appointed duty: when righteous warriors regain readiness and composure, it strengthens collective morale and supports the pursuit of dharma even amid fear and uncertainty.
Sañjaya reports that the allied kings led by Dhṛṣṭadyumna become pleased again upon seeing the Pāṇḍavas back on their chariots—visibly prepared to fight—indicating renewed confidence and momentum in the Pāṇḍava camp.
