avādayan dundubhīḥ ca śataśaś caiva puṣkarān | siṃhanādāṃś ca vividhān vineduḥ puruṣarṣabhāḥ ||
ان مردانِ نامدار نے سینکڑوں دُندُبی اور پُشکر (نقّارے) بجائے، اور طرح طرح کے شیرانہ نعرے بلند کر کے میدانِ جنگ کو گونجا دیا۔
संजय उवाच
