यस्त्वत्र मन्त्रसमयो भारयपत्योर्मिथ: कृत: । तमेवाहुर्गरीयांसं यश्चासौ ज्ञातिभि: कृत:
yas tv atra mantrasamayo bhāryāpatyor mithaḥ kṛtaḥ | tam evāhur garīyāṁsaṁ yaś cāsau jñātibhiḥ kṛtaḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا—شوہر اور بیوی کے درمیان جو باہمی عہد مقدس منتر کے ساتھ ادا کیا جائے، وہی سب سے زیادہ وزنی اور برتر سمجھا جاتا ہے۔ اور اگر اسی بندھن کو رشتہ دار بھی تسلیم کر کے اس کی تائید کریں تو وہ اور زیادہ قابلِ ستائش ہو جاتا ہے—کیونکہ اس میں ذاتی عہد کے ساتھ سماجی منظوری اور استحکام بھی شامل ہو جاتا ہے۔
