Shloka 14

अतृप्यन्तस्तु साधूनां य एवागमबुद्धय: । परमित्येव संतुष्टास्तानुपास्व च पूच्छ च

bhīṣma uvāca | atṛpyantastu sādhūnāṃ ya evāgamabuddhayaḥ | paramityeva saṃtuṣṭās tānupāsva ca pṛccha ca ||

بھیشم نے کہا— جو نیکوں کی صحبت سے کبھی سیر نہیں ہوتے، جن کی عقل آگم (مقدّس روایت) کی حجّت کو ہی برتر مانتی ہے، جو قناعت شعار ہیں اور دھرم ہی کو اعلیٰ ترین سمجھتے ہیں— ایسے بزرگوں کی خدمت میں رہو، ان کے قریب رہو، اور اپنے شکوک انہی سے پوچھ کر دور کرو۔
