प्रदाता सर्वलोकानां विश्व चाप्युच्यते महत् । ज्येष्ठभूतं वदन्त्येनं ब्राह्यणा ऋषयो5परे
pradātā sarvalokānāṁ viśva cāpy ucyate mahat | jyeṣṭhabhūtaṁ vadanty enaṁ brāhmaṇā ṛṣayo 'pare ||
وہ تمام جہانوں کا عطا کرنے والا ہے—جانداروں کو ان کی مطلوبہ چیزیں بخشنے والا۔ یہ عظیم کائنات بھی اسی کا ظہور کہی جاتی ہے۔ اسی لیے برہمن اور دوسرے رشی اسے جَیَشٹھ—اوّلین اور برتر—قرار دیتے ہیں۔
