आधारनिलयोअ<थधाता पुष्पहास: प्रजागर: । ऊर्ध्वग: सत्पथाचार: प्राणद: प्रणव: पण:
bhīṣma uvāca | ādhāra-nilayo 'dhātā puṣpa-hāsaḥ prajāgaraḥ | ūrdhva-gaḥ satpathācāraḥ prāṇa-daḥ praṇavaḥ paṇaḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا—وہ تمام موجودات کا سہارا اور ٹھکانہ ہے؛ خود قائم ہے، جس کا کوئی بنانے والا نہیں۔ اس کی مسکراہٹ پھول کی طرح کھلی ہوئی ہے؛ وہ ہمیشہ بیدار، ہمیشہ ہوشیار ہے۔ وہ سب سے بلند مقام پر ہے اور راہِ راست کے آداب کو قائم رکھنے والا ہے۔ وہ جان بخشنے والا ہے—گِرے ہوئے کو بھی زندگی لوٹا دینے والا؛ وہی پرنَو ‘اوم’ ہے، اور وہی ‘پَṇ’—جو ہر ایک کے ساتھ موزوں اور عادلانہ برتاؤ کرتا ہے۔
