सत्त्ववान् सात्त्विक: सत्य: सत्यधर्मपरायण: । अभिप्राय: प्रियाहों5र्ह: प्रियकृत् प्रीतिवर्धन:
sattvavān sāttvikaḥ satyaḥ satyadharmaparāyaṇaḥ | abhiprāyaḥ priyāhaḥ arhaḥ priyakṛt prītivardhanaḥ ||
بھیشم نے کہا—وہ سَتّوَوان ہے، ساتتوِک فطرت والا ہے؛ وہ سچ ہے—سچ بولنے والا اور سچّے دھرم پر قائم۔ وہ اہلِ محبت کا مقصودِ اعلیٰ ہے؛ نہایت عزیز چیز پیش کیے جانے کے لائق ہے؛ سب کے لیے اَره—یعنی انتہائی قابلِ تعظیم؛ اپنے بھکتوں کو خوش کرنے والا؛ اور محبت کرنے والوں کی محبت بڑھانے والا ہے۔
