प्रियो मे5यं प्रियोडस्पाहमिति सम्प्रेक्ष्य बुद्धिमान् वयस्यायैवमक्लिष्टं दानं दद्यादतन्द्रित:
priyo me ’yaṃ priyo ’smy aham iti samprekṣya buddhimān vayasyāyaivam akliṣṭaṃ dānaṃ dadyād atandritaḥ
بھیشم نے کہا— ‘یہ مجھے عزیز ہے اور میں اسے عزیز ہوں’ یہ سوچ کر دانا آدمی سستی چھوڑ دے اور اپنے دوست کو خوش دلی سے، بے تکلفی کے ساتھ عطیہ دے؛ یہ خواہش و محبت سے پیدا ہونے والا عطا ہے۔
