Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
हंसकाकमयूराणां कृकलासकसारसाम् | रूपाणि च बलाकानां गृध्रचक्राज़््योरपि
haṃsakākamayūrāṇāṃ kṛkalāsakasārasām | rūpāṇi ca balākānāṃ gṛdhracakrājyor api ||
واسودیو نے کہا—مہادیو ہنس، کوا، مور، چھپکلی اور سارَس کی صورتیں اختیار کرتے ہیں؛ وہ بگلا، گِدھ اور چکروَاک پرندے کی شکل بھی دھار لیتے ہیں۔ یوں ربّ بےشمار جاندار صورتوں میں جلوہ گر ہو کر بتاتا ہے کہ الوہیت ہر ذی روح میں سرایت کیے ہوئے ہے اور کوئی مخلوق تعظیم و توقیر کے دائرے سے باہر نہیں۔
