Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
प्रत्यूचु: सहिता: सर्वे ताराधिपमपूजयन् । एवं ते कथितं राजंस्तव जन्म पितु: पितु:
pratyūcuḥ sahitāḥ sarve tārādhipam apūjayan | evaṃ te kathitaṃ rājan tava janma pituḥ pituḥ |
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—تمام دیوتا یکجا ہو کر ‘تَتھاستُو’ کہہ کر راضی ہوئے اور ستاروں کے سردار، چاند کی پوجا کی۔ اے راجا! اس طرح میں نے تمہیں تمہارے باپ کے باپ (پِتامہ) کی پیدائش کا حال سنایا—کہ کیسے الٰہی منظوری اور کائناتی نظم کی تعظیم شاہی نسل کے تسلسل کے پسِ پشت ہے۔
