पुंनाम्नो नरकात् पुत्रस्त्रायते पितरं श्रुति: । तस्मादपत्यसंताने यतस्व ब्रह्मसत्तम
puṁnāmno narakāt putras trāyate pitaraṁ śrutiḥ | tasmād apatyasaṁtāne yatasva brahmasattama ||
شروتی کہتی ہے کہ بیٹا ‘پُں’ نامی نرک سے باپ کا اُدھار کرتا ہے۔ اس لیے، اے برہمنوں میں افضل، اولاد کے ذریعے اپنی نسل کی تسلسل کے لیے کوشش کرو۔
