देवसत्रे मृत्युनिरोधः, पूर्वेन्द्राणां मानुषावतरणम्, द्रौपदी-वरकथनम्

बलिनीौ युद्धसम्पन्नौ विद्यया च बलेन च । अन्योन्यमाह्दयन्तौ तु मत्ताविव महागजौ
balinau yuddhasampannau vidyayā ca balena ca | anyonyam āhvayantau tu mattāv iva mahāgajau ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—جنگی فنون، مہارت اور محض قوتِ بازو میں کامل تربیت یافتہ، زبردست شلیہ اور بھیم سین نے ایک اور جگہ کو میدانِ کارزار بنا کر ایک دوسرے کو للکارا اور دو مست ہاتھیوں کے سرداروں کی طرح گتھم گتھا ہو کر لڑنے لگے۔ دھرم-بندھ یُدھ کے میدان میں یہ رقابت ان کی دلیری کو اور بھی بھڑکا رہی تھی۔
