Draupadī Episode
एवं प्रतिज्ञा सत्येयं तवानघ भविष्यति । न चैवं सामरा लोका गमिष्यन्ति पराभवम्
evaṁ pratijñā satyeyam tavānagha bhaviṣyati | na caivaṁ sāmarā lokā gamiṣyanti parābhavam, anagha || nimittabhūtas tvaṁ cātra krato vāsiṣṭha-nandana | tat satraṁ muñca bhadraṁ te samāptam idam astu te ||
اَورْوَ نے کہا: “اے بےگناہ! یوں کرنے سے تمہاری نذر یقیناً سچی ہو جائے گی، اور دیوتاؤں سمیت تمام جہان تباہی میں نہیں پڑیں گے۔ اور اے وسِشٹھ کے نسل والے، اس یَجْن میں تم محض سببِ آلہ ہو۔ پس اس سَتر کو ترک کر دو؛ تمہارا بھلا ہو—یہ نشست اب اپنے شایانِ اختتام کو پہنچے۔”
