vyāghrarūpaṃ samāsthāya nihato darpito balī vyāghreśvara iti khyāto nityamatrāhamāsthitaḥ
Shiva (as the presiding deity of the kshetra/linga, speaking in the first person)
It establishes the kṣetra’s presiding form—Vyāghreśvara—affirming that Shiva is permanently present there, making the linga/spot especially potent for darśana, pūjā, and liberation-oriented worship.
Shiva is shown as Pati (the Lord) who can assume any form and remove the pasha of pride; His abiding presence indicates the linga as a stable seat of grace where the pashu (bound soul) can turn toward release.
The takeaway is ego-conquest as sādhanā: approaching the ever-abiding linga with humility, performing pūjā and japa to dissolve darpa (a key pasha), aligning with Pāśupata-oriented inner discipline.
