FAQs

It frames time as a regulated cycle—like Soma’s waxing and waning—implying that Linga worship aligns the pashu (individual soul) with Pati (Shiva), the cosmic regulator who orders all recurring change.

By emphasizing recurring cosmic order and measurement, it points to Shiva-tattva as the transcendent governor of kāla: change occurs, yet it is held within an intelligible rhythm under Pati’s sovereignty.

The verse supports time-disciplined sādhana—regular vrata, daily japa, and steady Linga-pūjā—central to Shaiva practice and compatible with Pāśupata Yoga’s insistence on consistent, cyclical observance.
