ब्रह्मकृत-ईशानस्तवः तथा विश्वरूपदेवी-प्रकृतिरहस्योपदेशः
एवमुक्त्वा महादेवः ससर्ज परमेश्वरः ततश् च पार्श्वगा देव्याः सर्वरूपकुमारकाः
evamuktvā mahādevaḥ sasarja parameśvaraḥ tataś ca pārśvagā devyāḥ sarvarūpakumārakāḥ
یوں کہہ کر پرمیشور مہادیو نے سृष्टی کو پھیلایا۔ پھر دیوی کے پہلو سے ایسے کمار-سروپ پیدا ہوئے جو ہر روپ دھारण کرنے کی قدرت رکھتے تھے۔

Shiva is shown as the sovereign cause who creates by will and word, while remaining the Supreme; creation unfolds through Shakti, indicating non-dual Lordship with dynamic power.
The verse mainly conveys srishti-tattva; for Pāśupata practice it implies meditating on Pati as the source of all forms, loosening pasha (bondage) by fixing awareness on the formless Lord behind form.
