Rudrakoṭi, Madhuvana, Puṣpanagarī, and Kālañjara — Śveta’s Bhakti and the Subjugation of Kāla

A devotee/sage offering a hymn of praise (stuti) to Lord Kurma as the Supreme Ishvara
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It praises the Supreme as “vibhāga-hīna-rūpa”—beyond divisions and classifications—pointing to the non-dual Atman/Ishvara that transcends all limiting distinctions.
The verse models bhakti-yoga through repeated namaskāra (salutation) and one-pointed contemplation of Ishvara’s boundless vibhūti, a supportive practice within the Kurma Purana’s broader Pāśupata-oriented discipline of devotion and inner absorption.
By addressing the Supreme as undivided and beyond categories, it aligns with the Purana’s synthesis: the highest Ishvara is one, though revered through Shaiva and Vaishnava names and forms.
