यासां पयोभि: कुशद्वीपौकस: कुशलकोविदाभियुक्तकुलकसंज्ञा भगवन्तं जातवेदसरूपिणं कर्मकौशलेन यजन्ते ॥ १६ ॥

Transliteration

yāsāṁ payobhiḥ kuśadvīpaukasaḥ kuśala-kovidābhiyukta-kulaka-saṁjñā bhagavantaṁ jātaveda-sarūpiṇaṁ karma-kauśalena yajante.

Translation

ان دریاؤں کے پانی میں غسل کرنے سے کُشَدویپ کے باشندے پاک ہو جاتے ہیں۔ وہ کُشَل، کوود، اَبیہُکت اور کُلَک کے نام سے مشہور ہیں، جو بالترتیب برہمن، کشتری، ویش اور شودر کے مانند ہیں۔ وہ ویدک شاستروں کے حکم کے مطابق کرم-کوشل سے یَجْن وغیرہ ادا کرتے ہیں اور بھگوان کی عبادت جات ویدس (اگنی دیو) کے روپ میں کرتے ہیں۔
