निशम्याक्रन्दितं देवी पुत्रयोर्नीयमानयो: । हतास्म्यहं कुनाथेन नपुंसा वीरमानिना ॥ २८ ॥
niśamyākranditaṁ devī putrayor nīyamānayoḥ hatāsmy ahaṁ kunāthena napuṁsā vīra-māninā
اُروَشی اُن دونوں میمنوں کو اپنے بیٹوں کی طرح سمجھتی تھی۔ جب انہیں لے جاتے ہوئے رونے کی آواز سنی تو اس نے شوہر کو ملامت کی— “ایسے نااہل شوہر کی پناہ میں میں ماری جا رہی ہوں؛ جو خود کو بہادر سمجھتا ہے مگر بزدل اور نامرد ہے!”
