Draupadī Meets Kṛṣṇa’s Queens — Narratives of the Lord’s Marriages and the Queens’ Bhakti
श्रीलक्ष्मणोवाच ममापि राज्ञ्यच्युतजन्मकर्म श्रुत्वा मुहुर्नारदगीतमास ह । चित्तं मुकुन्दे किल पद्महस्तया वृत: सुसम्मृश्य विहाय लोकपान् ॥ १७ ॥
śrī-lakṣmaṇovāca mamāpi rājñy acyuta-janma-karma śrutvā muhur nārada-gītam āsa ha cittaṁ mukunde kila padma-hastayā vṛtaḥ su-sammṛśya vihāya loka-pān
شری لکشمنہ نے کہا—اے ملکہ! میں نے بار بار نارَد مُنی کے گیتوں میں اچیوت کے ظہور اور لیلاؤں کی ستائش سنی، اور میرا دل بھی مکُند میں لگ گیا۔ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ پدمہستھا لکشمی دیوی نے بھی خوب غور و فکر کے بعد، لوک پال دیوتاؤں کو چھوڑ کر، اسی کو شوہر کے طور پر چُنا۔
