Nanda’s Captivity by Varuṇa and the Revelation of the Spiritual World

ममाप्यनुग्रहं कृष्ण कर्तुमर्हस्यशेषदृक् । गोविन्द नीयतामेष पिता ते पितृवत्सल ॥ ८ ॥
mamāpy anugrahaṁ kṛṣṇa kartum arhasy aśeṣa-dṛk govinda nīyatām eṣa pitā te pitṛ-vatsala
اے کرشن، اے سب کچھ دیکھنے والے! مجھ پر بھی اپنی عنایت فرمانا آپ ہی کو زیبا ہے۔ اے گووند، آپ اپنے والد کے نہایت شفیق ہیں؛ مہربانی کرکے اپنے والد کو گھر لے جائیں۔

This verse addresses Krishna as aśeṣa-dṛk, affirming that He knows everything and thus can perfectly bestow mercy and set right any situation, including freeing His devotee Nanda.
After Nanda Maharaja was brought to Varuna’s realm, Varuna recognized Krishna’s supreme position and, seeking Krishna’s favor, requested that Nanda—Krishna’s father—be respectfully led away (released) due to Krishna’s affection for him.
