प्रजापतिपतिर्ब्रह्मा देवर्षिपितृभूमिपै: । दक्षभृग्वङ्गिरोमुख्यै: कुमारेण भवेन च ॥ २० ॥ कश्यपस्यादिते: प्रीत्यै सर्वभूतभवाय च । लोकानां लोकपालानामकरोद् वामनं पतिम् ॥ २१ ॥
prajāpati-patir brahmā devarṣi-pitṛ-bhūmipaiḥ dakṣa-bhṛgv-aṅgiro-mukhyaiḥ kumāreṇa bhavena ca
پرَجاپتیوں کے سردار برہما نے دیوتاؤں، دیورشیوں، پِترلوک کے باشندوں، منوؤں، مُنیوں اور دکش، بھِرگو، انگِرا وغیرہ پیشواؤں کے ساتھ، نیز کارتّکیہ اور بھگوان شِو سمیت، سب کی حفاظت کے لیے بھگوان وامن دیو کو محافظ و آقا کے طور پر قبول کیا۔ یہ کشیپ مُنی اور ادیتی کی خوشنودی اور تمام جانداروں کی بھلائی کے لیے تھا۔
