Bali Mahārāja’s Surrender, Prahlāda’s Praise, and the Lord’s Mercy

बद्धं वीक्ष्य पतिं साध्वी तत्पत्नी भयविह्वला । प्राञ्जलि: प्रणतोपेन्द्रं बभाषेऽवाङ्मुखी नृप ॥ १९ ॥
baddhaṁ vīkṣya patiṁ sādhvī tat-patnī bhaya-vihvalā prāñjaliḥ praṇatopendraṁ babhāṣe ’vāṅ-mukhī nṛpa
اے بادشاہ! اپنے شوہر کو بندھا ہوا دیکھ کر وہ پاک دامن بیوی خوف سے گھبرا گئی۔ اس نے ہاتھ باندھ کر اُپیندر وامن دیو کو سجدۂ تعظیم کیا اور سر جھکا کر یوں بولی۔
Although Lord Brahmā was speaking, he had to stop for a while because Bali Mahārāja’s wife, Vindhyāvali, who was very agitated and afraid, wanted to say something.
