FAQs

It prescribes the step-by-step worship sequence for toraṇas (doorway arches/garlands) and the proper clockwise (pradakṣiṇā) order for honouring the dvārapālakās positioned on the doorway’s side-members (śākhās).

It records precise, implementable temple-ritual micro-protocols—how to worship specific architectural elements (toraṇa, śākhā) and protective deities (dvārapālakāḥ)—showing the Purāṇa’s coverage of liturgy, sacred architecture, and ritual sequencing.

Correctly worshipping thresholds and guardians is treated as maintaining ritual order and protection at the sacred boundary, supporting purity, auspicious entry, and unobstructed success of the main worship.
