नस्तकस्तु धनुर्मध्यं मौर्वी ज्या शिञ्जिनी गुणः पृषत्कवाणविशिखा अजिह्मगखगाशुगाः
nastakastu dhanurmadhyaṃ maurvī jyā śiñjinī guṇaḥ pṛṣatkavāṇaviśikhā ajihmagakhagāśugāḥ
کمان کے درمیانی حصے کو ‘نستک’ کہتے ہیں۔ کمان کی ڈوری ‘موروی’ یا ‘جیا’ کہلاتی ہے؛ جو ڈوری جھنکار پیدا کرے وہ ‘شِنجِنی’ ہے؛ اور ڈوری کا ایک نام ‘گُن’ بھی ہے۔ تیروں کو ‘پِرشَت’، ‘کَوان’ اور ‘وِشِکھا’ کہتے ہیں؛ نیز انہیں ‘اَجِہْم’، ‘گَ’، ‘خَگ’ اور ‘آشُگ’ بھی کہا جاتا ہے۔
