इवेत्थमर्थयोरेवं नूनं तर्के ऽर्थनिश् चये तूष्णीमर्थे सुखे जोषं किम्पृच्छायां जुगुप्सने

حروفِ غیر منصرف (اویّے) کا استعمال یوں ہے— ‘اِوَ’ اور ‘اِتھّم’ مشابہت اور طریقہ بتاتے ہیں؛ ‘ایوَم’ اور ‘نُونَم’ استدلال اور معنی کے تعیّن میں آتے ہیں؛ ‘تُوشْنِیم’ خاموشی کے لیے؛ ‘جوشَم’ راحت/لذّت کے لیے؛ اور ‘کِم’ سوال میں، نیز کبھی نفرت/جُگُپسا کے اظہار میں بھی۔
