FAQs

Vāstu-śāstra guidance: it lists physical defects (broken doorway, old well, decayed house, damaged wall) and proximity to certain trees as markers of vāstu-doṣa (inauspicious site conditions) to be avoided or corrected.

It shows the Agni Purāṇa functioning as a practical manual beyond mythology—preserving applied architectural/geomantic diagnostics (vāstu-doṣa-lakṣaṇa) alongside ritual and dharma topics.

Avoiding or remedying vāstu-doṣa is presented as supporting household well-being and ritual purity; an orderly, non-defective dwelling is treated as conducive to prosperity, peace, and the successful performance of dharmic rites.
