FAQs

An Ayurvedic rasāyana instruction: ingest palāśa (Butea) oil in a measured dose (one karṣa) with honey for six months, while maintaining a milk-based diet.

It exemplifies the Agni Purana’s inclusion of practical Ayurveda—precise dosing, duration, adjuvant (honey), and dietary regimen—alongside its ritual, dharma, and other knowledge systems.

As a rasāyana, it is framed as a discipline of bodily purification and rejuvenation through regulated intake and diet, supporting longevity and sustained capacity for dharmic and spiritual practice.
